POLICE OFFICER

RICHMOND HEIGHTS POLICE DEPARTMENT

Starting Salary:  $49,364

Pay Grade:  6

This is a full-time, benefit-eligible position which includes a full range of benefits including paid vacation, paid sick leave, paid holidays, tuition reimbursement, and employee health, dental, life, disability, and pension programs.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Performs duties to protect life and property, including patrol, conveyance, investigation, service, and enforcement functions, or special response team officers.  A full job description is available here.

REQUIREMENTS:

Successful candidates will perform the duties of basic patrolman.  Applicants must be 21 years old, possess a valid Drivers License and a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.  State of Missouri Class A P.O.S.T. Certification (640 hours) from an accredited Public Safety Academy is also required.
